In terms of project type, 82.5 percent

of projects are new investments. New

projects have an average capital

investment of USD 130.00 million and

job creation of 329 per project.

The average capital investment for

expansion and co-location is USD

50.50 million and USD 159.30 million

respectively. The average number of

jobs created in these project types is

150 and 470 respectively. Co-location

refers to the act of placing multiple

(sometimes related) entities within a

single location.

A survey of investors revealed the motives for 58 significant investment projects. The key

reasons for investment, as shown in Figure 16, were domestic market growth potential,

proximity to markets or customers, regulations or business climate, in that specific order.
