Low Income OIC Member Countries
Human Development Index
All the low income OIC counties are in the low human development (LHD) category, except
Tajikistan which is in the Medium Human Development category. While the highest HDI value is
0.650 and belongs to Tajikistan, with a position of 127 in the HDI ranking, the lowest value is
0.354 and belongs to Niger, with a position of 189
(Figure 18).
