MINADER, the Directorate of Investigation and Agricultural Statistics, provides statistical
information on the sector. Within MINADER, the Directorate of Investigation and Agricultural
Statistics, which is responsible for the production of statistics, is structured as follows:
 The Sub- Directorate of Surveys and Studies Statistics
 Cell Summaries of Statistics and Agricultural Income
 The cells of Information and Early Warning
 Decentralized Services Surveys and Agricultural Statistics
The Sub- Directorate of Surveys and Studies Statistics (SDEES) is responsible for:
 Designing, developing and monitoring of the implementation of the policy government
in agricultural statistics
 Designing, defining and implementing methodologies of agricultural surveys and
censuses
 Realizing of statistical studies , in conjunction with the administrations concerned
 Conducting statistical analysis of the evolution of the agricultural sector
 Centralizing of statistical information in the agricultural sector, in conjunction with
governments and agencies
The Unit of Briefs Statistics and Agricultural Income (CSSRA) is responsible for:
 Analyzing of the situation of the agricultural sector, in conjunction with the
Administrations concerned
 Analyzing of the survey results and agricultural censuses
 Analyzing of statistical data of the agricultural sector
 Implementing consistency of all data on the agricultural sector
 Preparing the accounts and income from agriculture
 Establishing of food balance sheets
 Farm Accountancy Data Network

The Unit of Information and Early Warning (ARTC) is responsible for:
 Carrying out the activities of the National Early Warning System in the context of food
security
 Crop monitoring and forecasting crop and food supply
 Implementing of a monitoring and information markets agricultural and food products
 Identifying and monitoring of groups and areas at risk of food insecurity
Decentralized Service Investigation and Agricultural Statistics is responsible for:
 Monitoring the implementation of the policy on the collection and production of
agricultural statistics
 Monitoring accounts and income from agriculture
 Collecting agricultural statistics
 Implementing of an information network on farmers' income agricultural
