ICVB promotes Istanbul as a MICE destination. Over 20,000 international meetings occur

providing free or cheap flight tickets (Turkish Airlines),
periodic payments from private sector members, place
for organising event, hosting guests.
Contribution to ICVB:
Direct budget contribution and
physcial officeplace (ITO), membership fee, guidance
and research support, destination marketing activities,
tourismeducation support.
Contribution to ICVB
: Legal support, lessening red
tape, improving processes, providing government’s
letter of intent to attract international associations to
Istanbul. ICVB closely works on getting the support of
these government bodies during the bidding process
with international associations.
