As can be seen in Table 50, the Turkish agricultural statistical system compiles and
disseminates a wide variety of statistics related to the traditional domains such as production,
prices, inputs and trade.
iii. Resources of the Agricultural System
Agricultural statistics in Turkey are mainly compiled by TurkStat and MFAL. Agricultural
statistics in these institutions are compiled by the Agriculture Statistics Department of
