The increased adoption of 4G is having an impact on average mobile broadband speeds. Recent
data for two years indicates that while average download speed of mobile broadband in OECD
countries has jumped from 6.08 Mbps to 9.22 Mbps in just one year, data for the OIC Member
Countries by the end of 2015 was still under that of the OECD in 2014 (see table 27).
