in China. The interesting aspect is that SDG is not a part of the NTMP and in 2008 there was no
intention of investing $2.5 Billion in a new railway. However, this was later captured in the
Strategic Implementation Plan for the NTMP in 2015.
Civil Aviation
According to the Uganda Civil Aviation Master Plan (CAMP), it is projected that total passenger
numbers at Entebbe (the main national international airport) will grow from almost 1.4 million
in 2012 to more than 7.5 million in 2033. The details of the aviation sub-sector plan are set out
