developing new tourist packages on a regular basis to attract more tourists both locally and
internationally.
 At the state level, there is a need for incentives to be developed by the government for states to
allow tourism to take centre stage and attract tourism revenue to the state. With declining oil
prices, it would be best for the federal government to work together with state level tourism
boards in structuring an achievable strategic plan and to develop the dilapidated hospitality and
tourism sectors nationwide.
