Trade policies in Morocco in terms of preferential trade agreements have been influenced by
Agadir, EFTA, EU, Global Systemof Trade Preferences among Developing Countries (GSTP), Pan-
Arab Free Trade Area (PAFTA) agreements. Most of the free trade agreements are developed in
parallel to these trade blocs. Currently, Morocco is part of free trade agreements with 86
countries worldwide including 28 OIC member countries (Algeria, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Benin,
Cameroon, Egypt, Guinea, Guyana, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya,
Malaysia, Morocco, Mozambique, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tunisia,
Turkey, UAE, and Yemen). (WTO, RTA-IS)
