Teaching Strategy
In the recent research (see: Khan& Markauskaite, 2017), on TVET sectors identified two broad
teaching strategies (teacher-focused to student focused) with five continuums:

, information-oriented strategy with the intention of effectively
delivering subject content;

teacher-focused
, feedback-oriented strategy with the intention of achieving intended
course outcomes;

teacher-focused
, practice-oriented strategywith the intention of linking theoretical and
practical knowledge;

student-focused
, facilitation-oriented strategy with the intention of creating active
learning opportunities for developing students’ understanding;
5)
A
student-focused
, industry-oriented strategy with the intention of developing students’
knowledge and skills to meet industry’s needs
