With regards to the distribution of imports across country groups and product groups, Figure
4.67 shows that the Asian group has the highest share of OIC countries in Brazil’s imports of
agri-food products. The Asian group’s share has been within the range of 4.7% to 7% during the
period of 2008-2016. The African group’s share declined from 1.3% in 2008 to 0.3% in 2016.
The Arab group’s share has been relatively stable, remaining within the range of 0.2% to 0.7%.
