No evidence was found in Egypt to suggest that the existing MIS, either public or private, are

linked to the development of market-supporting institutions such as warehouse receipt systems

(WRS) or commodity exchanges. There also does not appear to be any initiative linking the MIS

to sustainable agricultural credit delivery system.
