The review includes an inventory of existing MIS in non-OIC countries and in the OIC member
states and the main methodological cluster of activities included the following:
• Desk-based literature review.
• Key expert surveys – based on a questionnaire which was developed by the NRI team.
Analysis of the outcome of the survey included statistical analysis of the data generated as
well as a qualitative analysis of some of the responses provided, especially in response to
open-ended questions.
