Arab Group countries have 15 million hectares of irrigated area. In this Group,

Iraq, Egypt, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Morocco and Syria, have the largest shares,

respectively. The amount of irrigated area is relatively low in other countries (Figure

9.8).
